Preliminary task - Post production - Presentation.

Just wrote up the presentation and spoken to Mr. Sheppered and arranged to put our movie on his disk so that later on today we can show it to the rest of the class now that it is all finnished.

Preliminary task - Post production - Editing.

Today we spent the whole of our media lesson and stayed behind at lunch to edit the shots together.
We still have a few shots that are on a different camera, however we will be able to get them soon hopefully and then we can put it all together. Lucy has picked the music and we can add that in for the beginning of the film, we are then thinking about having our main scene in complete silence to make it more dramatic.
Hopefuly by Monday we should have the film finnished and then beacuse Lucy is going on holiday, me and Hayley are planning on doing the presentation so that everything is readdy to go when we need to present.

Preliminary task - Production - Sceond and final shooting session.

Went up to the church tonight to do the last shots that we needed. We we're all set up and ready to film when we needed too. We got all the shots that we needed and everything went off well. We even got some extra shots so that we could see what we could play around with at home.

In class we also started to edit all of the flashbacks and came up with a realy dark and confusing look to it to show that the younger version of Taylor is a little confused and his younger memories arn't brilliant from when he was that young.

Preliminary task - Production - First shooting exercise.

Spent three hours over in Yaxley filming with Lucy so that we can get the flasbacks done for the movie. We are also filming on Tuesday up at the church and then will spend some much needed time hard at work editing the movie all together to meet the deadline.
As long as we all work hard we should be able to get the presentation together in time to show everyone what we have produced.

Also now writing a second draft of the script as we have realised that the orginal would be much longer than 3 minutes.

Preliminaery task - Pre production - Recce.

Managed to get some pictures of the All Saints church in Sawtry, however unfortunalty we could not find anyone to talk too about filiming their. We got over hicup in the journey by being able to go up to the church in Yaxley for Tuesday night, all being well we should have everything filmed by then. Then all the rest of the time we will spend on editing the film together and hopefully making it as good as the images we have in our minds.

We are filming at the house location on Sunday, so booked the camera out yeaterday and it is currently charging waiting to go for us tomorrow. Then also get to pick the music that we are going to use to just make our film that extra bit special...!

Preliminary task - Pre production - Script.

Managed to finnish the script off. Just making sure that all of our actors we have so far are ok to still play the roles. Also at the churche's to see which one we would like to film at.

Preliminary task - Pre production -Title.

After starting to write up the script i cam across the problem that although our group had come up with an idea that we all thought would be a fun and exciting project to work on, i realised that we had not named it.

After much discussion we decided to go with 'Confession'.

Preliminary task - Pre production - Idea.

Me and Lucy got together during the lesson, unfortunalty Hayley could not join us. We agreed on roles for the group members:

Director- Lucy.
Editor - Myself.
Producer- Hayley.
Camera - Myself.

We also came up with the plot of a murder with a hidden meaning of that the killer is doing this as revenge and for answers to his life that has been confusion from the day he was born. We placed it in the thriller/drama genre.

We also picked the people we we're going to ask play the roles in our film. We also agreed that over the half term that Lucy would do a storybored and the chracter profile on the man (Taylor Jackson) and i would go away and do the recce on the church that we are looking to use, the character profile on the vicar (Reverend Smith) and the script.
